The company
Expertise in precision engineering since 1980
Founded in 1980 in Cholet by Daniel Rocheteau and Joseph Retailleau, SOMEGE moved to Mortagne-sur-Sèvre in 1982 and quickly developed its expertise in the machining of castings.
Over the years, the company has strengthened its expertise in programming, industrial methods, CAD, CAM, and 3D modeling to meet the growing demands of the most technically advanced industrial sectors.
In 1999, Christophe Milliot and his team took over the company and accelerated the development of CNC technology as well as the modernization of production facilities.
To support its growth, Somege opened a new 5,000-square-meter industrial facility in 2006, solidifying its position as a specialist in precision machining and complex castings.
A trusted partner for your industrial projects
With a team of 50 employees and state-of-the-art equipment, SOMEGE supports manufacturers in the production of complex technical parts. Thanks to its certifications and client qualifications (nuclear, SNCF, etc.), the company has established itself as a reliable and experienced partner.
SOMEGE manages the entire production chain: 3D modeling, foundry design, machining, heat and surface treatments, assembly, and delivery of complete assemblies. Its capabilities enable the production of parts ranging from 500g to 1,600kg in small and medium-sized production runs.
The strength of an industrial consortium
In collaboration with its complementary partners HAVARD and SOMEPLUS, SOMEGE offers a comprehensive solution with a single point of contact. This synergy ensures complete control over the industrial process while providing competitive production, from medium to large-scale runs.
The consortium also offers rapid responsiveness, improved supply chain management, and expanded capacity to meet the most challenging industrial projects.
